A new chapter for Supercast.

To our Creators,

Today marks a new chapter for Supercast. We are thrilled to announce that Supercast has been acquired by Red Seat Ventures, part of Fox Corporation’s Tubi Media Group.

We want to lead with what matters most: You keep full ownership of your content and your audience relationships.

Our team, our culture, and our commitment to creators stays the same and Supercast will continue to operate autonomously under my leadership as CEO.

From the very beginning, Supercast was built to help podcasters build sustainable, creator-owned businesses on their own terms, while deepening the connection with their listeners. That mission doesn’t change.

The team at Red Seat Ventures share our belief that the future of media belongs to creators who build authentic connections with their audiences, and they have a track record of helping creators expand into category-defining media businesses. By joining forces, we see a unique opportunity to go deeper and support creators across everything needed to operate at the highest level, including audio and video production, funding, sponsorships, events, distribution and subscriptions.

With the backing of Red Seat Ventures, we’ll be expanding the Supercast team, accelerating the product roadmap, and raising the bar on creator support. Over time, we’re excited to open up new growth options for creators, through the capabilities of Red Seat Ventures and the distribution power of Tubi Media Group and FOX.

Above all, our commitment is to keep listening closely, keep building thoughtfully, and keep putting creators at the center of everything we do. If you have questions or feedback, feel free to email me at jason@supercast.com. I’d love to hear from you.

We’re deeply grateful for the trust you’ve placed in us, and we’re excited to continue building alongside you.

Yours,

Jason Sew Hoy
CEO, Supercast
